That is certainly the case. On the other hand, there
are some machines
that are common in the UK and much rarer in the States (tbe BBC micro
being an obvious example). And some machines that are essentially unknown
in the States (are there any Acorn System racks of eurocards in the States?)
I would even doubt that a remarkable number ever left the Brit
island (Eire except) ... At least I never saw one over here.
