No kidding. Right now, I'm working with an
ENC28J60 ethernet
controller attached via the SPI port on a PIC. I wonder if the setup
consumes much more power than a couple of front panel lamps on a PDP-
8.
Maybe a pic has more computing power than a PDP-8? :o)
