We solved that very issue at work with a wiki. (Maybe there's one
already?)
On this particular issue, wikipedia already covers it pretty well.
I'd like to see this community make a vintage computing wiki, like I
have done for terminals, but instead everyone seems insistent on
building a monument of their own instead of collaborating.
