get a shell.
There are NEXTSTEP images, and you can even boot them in QEMU - so on

AFAIK anyway. The install cd only installs. If they
can't
boot single user and get a shell they'll have to mount the disk on
another NeXT box and edit the files.
That shouldn't be too challenging, they're not /that/ hard to find.
Still, it's pretty dang basic unix
sysadmin stuff. Scary nobody at CERN could do it.
