A little help w/shipping from the UK, please?

I want to purchase this item from ebay 130113266639 and the seller quoted me this for shipping: "The total weight is 45kg! The cheapest freight I have found costs approx #200.00 (approx $400) with UPS. It would need to be shipped in 2 boxes. If you can find a cheaper shipping quote from London, UK, N10 3AB then you are welcome to arrange your own pickup by a delivery company from here if you win the auction." Any suggestions on a more cost effective way to ship this? I suspect the person got an air shipping quote and not something slower but less expensive.
