Then there's all that green corrosion on the PCB.
See if
it'll brush off with a dry toothbrush (an old one!) and
then check for broken PCB traces and/or IC pins. All the
ICs in that area are very clearly labelled and there's
nothing unusual that I can see there.
Vinegar! Vinegar! Vinegar! The common household type! It cleans the mess
and neutralize the alkali! Wash in isopropyl alchool after cleaning :o)
