From memory, the color is definitely correct for the top cover of a SC008
cabinet too. The front and rear doors are a beige/cream color and the top is
more of a brown/gray. I think he may be correct. To me it looks like
the top panel/cover for a
SC008 star coupler cabinet (the vents would go towards the rear). Mine is
behind a ton of stuff in my storage building and has a bunch of Compaq
gear on top of it, so unfortunately I can't measure it to double check.
Anyone have a photo of one of these?

according to the drawings and user guide for the star coupler cabinet, the
rear door opened using hinges mounted on the side. My particular door
doesn't have these. It has a hole on each side of the bottom to be placed
on vertical bolts.
