Damned terminology. No room in the middle. Vector vs. raster.
The DD60 character drawing was definitely vector--and it could plot dots.
What the PPU saw wasn't vector, but the mechanism for drawing characters
inside the controller definitely was.
So not raster, but not vector graphics. Vector characters.
