What happens when you press <Ctrl>-<Esc>?
Don't you hate rhetorical questions?
No, I like 'em.
But for the record, the Windows key - or in Linux circles, where it's
finally getting used these days by Ubuntu Unity, GNOME 3 Shell and
indeed Crunchbang Linux, the "super key" as it's called - does /not/
equate to Ctrl-Esc.
Yes, on Windows, Ctrl-Esc summons the Start menu, and so does the
Super key... but the Super key does loads more besides.
Super+D = show *D*esktop [i.e., hide all windows]
Super+R = *R*un
Super+E = new *E*explorer window
... and dozens more. Ctrl+Esc does not trigger any of these. Sadly.
