I'll definitely be looking at alternatives in the
future. The other shoe in
this is that it appears the shipper didn't bother to insure the package,
Basically your screwed, no insurance means nothing but the basic $100
coverage. Time to go back to the shipper for a long hard talk. Stay on
UPS's back about tracing etc.
