You are right, of course. But I can't avoid to
link in my mind prices like
this with others perhaps more centered in the collector field. It appears
to
be an attitude in growth.

The "new old stock" price of an item
has no relation to the collector
or hobbyist, it is a price to get a factory machine going again
possibly cheap for the machine owner. Still an abuse of pricing
though!
