I know third-party serial ports, standard disk drives and so on were
widely available later in the PCW's life, but how was development done
when it first came out? Did Amstrad provide developer-friendly PCWs with
extra hardware to make porting existing CP/M applications easier, or did
development houses have to come up with their own approaches?
