Amid the extensive discussions about RS-232 you
may have missed the
fact that I solved my problem. I used a breakout box to determine the
cable I needed. It was very simple, Rx and Tx crossed over and CTS and
RTS shorted together at the PC end.
And you may have missed the fact that this conversation has evolved into a
theoretical discussion. ;)
