Perhaps Alexandre wasn't familiar with the wide

related to a piece of gear from their Marine Division.

But to me, a "keyboard" means only an input
device. If it's a synth,
call it that. And then be specific.

At any rate, few know of the Yamaha C-1, a few know about the "hybrid"
PC-music gear, such as the CX5. For example, the DX7 synth is still
very popular among musicians and there's likely a community of folks who
know them inside and out.
I briefly had a Yamaha MSX machine (Z80? MS-DOS-like disk format)
that I bought from Mitchell Waite. NO recollection of model number.
Its keyboard was a little flaky, and I never got around to disassembly
to check that out.
