TI has some nice parts in their Stellaris
line, but they seem to be axing one of the best ones (which had both a
parallel bus AND a built-in 10/100 PHY, which was great for cutting
board space). I'm also slightly biased against the TI chips because
they often only take 3.3v as a supply (a problem for my low-power RF
projects), but that's not such a bad thing in this context.
I used the Stellaris series on some projects, and really liked them.
But after they EOL them, I went to the STM32F4.
Software is definitely not as good as with Stellaris, the examples TI
provided were pretty good to be used as a start. What ST provides, is
a pile of weird samples without any straight line ...
But, there are many people on the net using them, so you get support.
