This auction still smells fishy...Either it's a
ploy to bring prices on
these old things up to insane amounts, or the buyer wanted a boxed VIC20
very very badly.
I would go with very very badly. Check what this Vectrex just went

And if you're interested, compare to other Vectrexs. Even in an
unopened box, it went for an insane amount.
