Qt has the major disadvantage of not working "out of the box" with
Visual C++ Express editions (which are free). This creates a barrier
for other people to contribute to the project because it is more work
to set up a compilation environment (you have to use gcc under cygwin
or MingW, neither of which is as easy to setup as VC++ Express).
