Didn't we do this thread last year? :)
The dd.exe released by Sun works at the file level, not on raw
devices. You can read from a file to a floppy, but that seems to be as
close as it gets.
When Jerome Fine was working out how to dupe the RT-11 freeware CDs to
Ersatz-11 disk files (I think that was the project) we went round and
round with this. dd.exe was my suggestion, so you can believe I tried
really hard to get it to work. It won't do it. The OS doesn't seem to
provide access to the raw device.
