No, the Sun type-3 mouse uses a much less dense grid. They're becoming
somewhat difficult to find; before I got one for my 3's, I first used a
laser-printed grid approximately the same spacing as the real pad. Trying
to use that was an exercise in patience.
It was either that or use a type-3 => type-4 adapter...but then this _is_
a *classic* computer collection, right?
