The problem is, you're interacting with stuff that other users have
consented to place in that world. You might've enjoyed SecondLife's
Gardens of Apollo, but when that space's creator can no longer afford
to pay for their portion of the virtual world, it'll disappear.
Maybe the fine print of the user agreement would allow SL or its
intellectual property successors to revive what you created, but
that could trigger a cascade of subsequent IP disputes.
