Having put together events myself, alone, I totally understand how
much work is involved.
I also understand getting burned out and needing to take a breather.
However, when you decide to take a step back and take a rest, you need
to hand the event off to someone else instead of stopping the event.
What has seemed to have happened with VCF is that it just stopped,
instead of being shepherded to someone else.
