For just playing around you can also use an oscilloscope in X-Y mode... even better if
you can trigger off of another input too.

I can fix the others too, if you wish.
The problem for most folks is that they will need a vector type monitor, thats a little
harder to find, but I see them out there for about $300.
Wells Gardner if I recall.
