As soon as people got into computers who started with 3.5", they started
to get sloppy and call them 5"
3" I do have (for some Amstrady thingumies).
3.25" I've never had the
pleasure to chance upon (although I know they do exist).
3.25" was the Dysan fiasco. We can tell you a lot more about them if you
want to be bored.
Didn't IBM make a 4" size around the time that sub-5.25" was just getting
going as well?
