I think this is why people need to revise their advice about where to
find classic computing gear. I keep getting told "go to a hamfest or
swapfest", but they don't even exist in my area and I don't think that
there would be much stuff like that in these places if they did exist
in my area. This advice seems to be coming more from old memories
than "I saw a PDP-8 down at the hamfest just last week" sort of story.
