I was thinking of page Zero memory- I could be off on my decimal
conversion. 200(8) words of ram. Most of the rest of
memory is for code. This is a basic 4K machine.

Depends on the clock rate. For most PICs, probably not.
The PIC in question is an 18F4550, pretty fast, not much RAM,
Harvard architecture, so an apples-to-apples comparison is a little
difficult.
