Just like noone was talking about replacing this list with a wiki,
noone on this thread has talked about *replacing* CPU boards on a
vintage machine with an FPGA.
What *was* talked about was making an FPGA equivalent processor so
that it could be dropped into a board sans CPU to make the board
function again.
