Relevant only to people who confuse "parallel port" with "printer
interface".
Unfortunately, that's enough people that we (FSVO "we") end up losing
an extremely useful interface....
Take a look at the V-USB projects. There are several USB-to-LPT
designs there, even with Windows VDD's to materialize the usual 378-278
I/O port range.
I use a similar design using an AT90USB MCU to access a Microsolutions
Backpack parallel drive.
