This seems to be a trend that is increasingly an unquestioned article
of faith. From a Chinese forum moderator in response to what is a
very clear software crash:
"As we know there are no such "Bug Free" software exist. This is why
the software need to be updated regularly. Please check back the
software update regularly."
In this case, "regularly" means "last recompiled in 2008". Those
damned file dates!
