stand to be corrected about our model. It did have nixie
tubes. We only tossed it a couple back. I held onto it intending to
try a controversial method of melting metals (brass, etc.) as it was
rated for 1000 watts and was virtually unused.
1980? Models since the 70's had large red LED displays.
C: About then. This one had green nixie tubes (are all green displays nixie tubes I
should ask?). I used to have a Radio Shack calculator w/a green display also. Pretty sure
that had them also.
