I've asked this many times before, what is it about classiccmpers and
cats? Logically, having something that is known for jumping onto a
workbench and scattering aprts everywhere nad is known for being a good
electrostatic generator [1] would seem to be a Bad Thing. But I love
them....
[1] To the extent that one of my books on making electrostatic geneators
actually gives a way to charge a leyden jar by stroking a cat :-)

Techies like cats, cats like to play on workbenches and lay on laptops
or keyboards, and some cats like to crawl into your big iron.
