And let's be clear--it's the connector, not
the electrical interface
(which is identical to that of the 5170) that differentiates these.
Indeed. I can;t be the only person to have chopped the mini-DIN plug of a
PS/2-compatible keyboard and soldered a 5 pin DIN plug to the cable to
conenct it to a 5170 or clone.
