I think that getting your son a PC for gaming will get
him involved with the
"bad boys", the kind who like to slaughter each other across networks whoile
shouting bad words at each other. Console games are nicer.
Console games are starting to go online as well though. The Dreamcaste
started it, the PS2 will soon have a adapter, and I think the Xbox might
come with it (or at least you'll be able to add it). I'm not sure about the
Game Cube.
