~25 years ago, a student in the lab managed to get the mylar out of it's
jacket of a 5.25" diskette. Somebody asked her, "how come you didn't
realize that something was wrong when it was so hard to take apart?"
She replied, "it's just about as hard to open a bag of potato chips"
I once got a similar explanation from someone who forced a second 3.5"
floopy into a drive. "It wasn't that hard."
