You know, I have the same problem. I don't know
what it is about LCD
monitors, but they do tend to induce headaches. CRT's never seem to
bother me. I can stay up many hours into the night staring into a VT100
Badly adjusted CRTs, partcilaurly poor convergence, drive me insane.
in a dark room with no problems - but an hour of using
a laptop and I
have a headache.
However, LCDs don't seem to botyehr me, although I don't own an LCD
monitor so I've not used one for long periods.
I wonder if the problem isn't the LCD itself, but some characteristic of
the backlight,
