In the day of the old plasma-display boxes, I believe that hosting was done using Cyber
70 mainframes running KRONOS (or NOS if you're more up-to-date).

There?s a system running in Palo Alto, on the DtCyber emulator. It started as a copy of a
real PLATO system (courtesy FAA).
