Hi Erik: Thanks for the email. You'll need the Processor Handbook for the 11/70. It tells all about how to use the front panel. If you need schematics (probably not at this stage) then I can assist. I don't have the processor handbook, I suggest that you post on the classiccmp list and one of several people (Tony, Megan, Allison, Tim, ...) will likely respond with an offer to photocopy the relevant sections. I run a pdp-8 web site, one friend runs a pdp-11 web site on my machine. He may have posted the 11/70 manual in scanned form, or may have it and be able to scan it/copy it for you.
