They will investigate in cases of large dollar losses. The only good
part of that is that it's total loss, not what you personally may have
lost - big time scammers have a better chance of crossing that line,
if everyone who got scammed reports it.
The net is rife with stories of successful and unsuccessful pursuits
of scammers. YMMV.
OTOH, I won't use BidPay either. I don't like Western Union, and I
don't like their fee structures (of course... pretty much any
technique has its problems).
