Hello, all:
Does anyone have the Windows 3.1 DDK (device driver deveopment kit)?
I'm looking for it to do some spleunking of Win3.1 kernel code. I already
have the SDK, but I need the DDK.

Check the Borland site, at one time they had the older software free
to download.

The 3.10 DDK that I have (but can't get to right now) was from right
before the release of Win3.10. It's a CD-ROM, and also includes the SDK.
Unfortunately, it may be quite a while before I can locate it.

Do you have the exact URL address? These things can be hard to find!
I have found I am starting to use a DOS window a lot of the time in Windows98.
I once used a program called NDE (Norton's DOS Editor) which was a
COMMAND LINE EDITOR
that saved all commands in a stack and did a few other things. Effectively,
it was a TSR in DOS and acted identically to the Single Line Editor (SL:)
in RT-11. I will eventually rescue it from an old 286 I have around. Has
anyone ever used this in a Windows98 environment?

I have a complete July 1995 Microsoft Developer Network CR-ROM set. It has a
Windows 3.1 DDK CD. Send me an email with your address and I will mail you a
copy of the DDK CD.

Got me beat... my oldest CD is July, 1996; and I think the stuff that
Rich wants had already fallen off the face of the earth by then. There's
some 16-bit Windows things, but it's not clear that the mere mention
of "Win32s" implies that all the older stuff got carried forward.

The CD has both the 32 and 16 bit vesions. It was the last set before
Windows 95. Today at work I found a box of old MSDN CD-ROMs. There was a
complete set from July 1994 plus some stuff from April 1994.
