It's called "uptomp.exe". More than one processor under WinNT makes it
almost tolerable. There are plenty of horsepower-hungry multithreaded
apps out there. Just letting the OS delegate tasks to each CPU makes
a big difference.
(This does not explain, however, why it takes my dual PPro, 200 Mhz,
163 meg RAM, SCSI system about ten seconds to start Java, though.)
