Well, I don't think it was made exactly for the AT, but I know that I've
seen them in old pictures with an AT. I'm not sure about the date, and I
don't think they were made by IBM, either.

a cd rom for a 5170? that machine was announced ~1984 and IBM didnt have
a cd
rom drive for an option way back then.
