While trying to to put a new hard drive into my SCSI chain, I couldn't get an old hard drive to show up any more, so I shut off the system and tried to make sure that the SCSI was in. When I turned the system back on, the monitor turned on; but the operating system did not kick in. No welcome message or anything. This was true even when I tried to start up from a system disk? Any ideas what's happening? Or what I can do to fix it?
