This system really has to vacate the premise! A happy home may be the

I hope someone can save this. CDC 300 meg SMD drives are getting tougher
to find in good shape.
There is also a Fuji Super Eagle at the bottom of the rack.
I was able to give the system a happy home indeed. I drove up yesterday to
meet Carl who was very eager to get rid of two large rooms full of stuff.
Despite taking a large van to get the Marquette system (man, was the CDC
SMD drive heavy...!) with two friends, we had to leave a lot of great stuff
behind. Lots of discrete parts, ICs, some shelving units, an HP-150, an
ADM-22, etc. I was very sad that I couldn't take it all, but I simply
didn't have enough room: the van was filled to the brim as we left.
If anyone is interested in helping Carl find a happy home for the rest of
the parts and equipment, they should do so as soon as possible. He will
have to evacuate the premises in the next couple of weeks. You can email
him at carl at
datamed.com.
