A good, practical way to do it. Mark-sense cards/readers are commonly
used in colleges for multiple guess tests.

But in line with the "Vintage" nature, I
think that you should use
"porta-punch" IBM cards! You could maybe borrow/rent one of the manual
punches that is commonly used in elections. 'course then you also need a
card reader, . . .
I've got card readers... But they are a LOT heavier than my mark-sense
readers.
Remind me if/when you get by my office to look for my
IBM folding voting
booth.
