<Ah, but what was the first Microcomputer (including at least a monitor with <bitmap display, some sort of disk or floppy drive, as standard features, <and 'personal' in nature)? That could be a pdp-12 or a POLY-88 depending on your point of view. Clearly a northstar horizon with a compucolor would fit that requirement though at that time useres didn't feel the need for more than a good terminal. That would be 1978. Why bit mapped monitor?
