(Do the Mac people not call it a DB-15? :-) It's the same as for a VAXstation 2000 and I have a manual for that which has the pinouts. Hmmm. Perhaps it's only the VS2000 that also passes the keyboard and mouse signals through that connector - there is no room for more connectors on that machine. The video signals are: 1. Red 2. RGB ground 10. Green 11. Blue There is also a monochrome video signal available from the frame buffer on the system board which is not usually used if you have one of the optional colour graphics cards: 3. Monochrome ground 9. Monochrome video If you make up an DA-15M - DA-15F adapter to get at these, you can probably run your VS3100 double headed. I've done it with a GPX graphics card and VMS. I assume it is also possible with an SPX graphics card. I can't see why not. (I remember our sales guy's jaw nearly hitting the floor when I showed him the Decwindows mouse pointer moving from one monitor onto the other :-) Regards, Peter Coghlan.
