Here is a site that claims Caldera just GPL'd GEM.

 this statement, but apparently the guy running the site browbeat Caldera
 into releasing it.  They've got a pretty good selection of GEM PC software,
 and it sounds like other stuff elsewhere on the site.  If you're interested
 in such things. 
Sounds to good to be true - Last modification date is
Donnerstag, 22. April 1999 13:27:27 GMT, do it is new.
It should be very interersting to compare the graphical
part to the CP/M GSX (from all datastructures they are
_very_ similar, so I always belived the code must be
close).
Maybe now my old wish could be done - port GEM to CP/M 80
(in fact, with GSX, 70% are already there).
