The power supply that you probably want (being in North America) is HP p/n 82509D: it's the same thing as used for a lot of HP's portable computers, and I think the 41C rechargable battery pack. (There are other variants on this for places with other input voltages and/or mechanical wall outlet configurations.) Output is 8VAC, 3A, which should be applied to the two pins in the rectangular socket on the back of the Plus (not the trapezoidal ones which are HP-IL connectors). If the Plus doesn't hold a charge, the battery is replaceable. -Frank McConnell
