Look into
4pcb.com (?) and other houses that offer
discounts on your first order (usually -$500).
Then, do your design so that the whole design
falls below that threshold -- i.e. free.
You only get one shot at this, though... and, you
need a *real* layout (gerber photoplots, drill drawing,
etc.) -- thoug I would skip the silk screen and maybe
even the solder resist if it helps bring you down to the
< $500 point (assuming you aren't doing anything with
fine-line rules, etc.)
