A friend of mine is being forced to vacate his building at the end of the month. He has a
nice Model 83 Card Sorter that has been well stored but unused for years. It must be
removed before the end of the month. This is BIG - approximately 5 feet long, 4 feet high,
500+ pounds. If you want it and can come and get it (lift gate truck a necessity), please
contact me _directly_ ASAP.
It will be junked if not taken this week.

That is a sweet item. Can you tell us some more about location? Is it
downtown Chicago or somewhere nearby. I'm in NYC, but I'm trying to spark
interest at the Google office in Chicago. We have some mini-museums in our
lobbies. This would be a great acquisition.

Already contacted Jack and called dibs for the MARCH museum here in New
Jersey ... we just need some help to get it here, or at least to midway
(Dave McGuire's place in Pittsburgh.)

MARCH did not act on the 083 (actually two 083s, both in very fine
condition) at Cardamation last year - they were much closer, being
right outside Philadelphia.

I don't remember hearing about that. From your post from 18 March 2012:
We're interested for the MARCH museum. We have an
082 but the previous
owner gutted it and used it as a bar. :(
