probably more likely that Siemens cross licensed the chips (made those) and wanted
development support for them in Europe. Intel manufactured Siemens brand MDS systems
during that time at part of the license agreement

I don't know if Intel worked together with any of them but at one time
there were over 200 companies producing Multibus cards. In this area, I
find a LOT of Harris cards.
